proPilot 5.2.0

proPilot 5.2.0 is here, welcome to an even more powerful experience!

Let's explore together the new features that will allow you to reconnect strategy with achievements!

New SSO mode for your user management

With this version, proPilot now offers two distinct modes for user management:

  • “Centralized Management in proPilot” Mode:

    • User management remains fully centralized within proPilot, as before.

    • proPilot handles authentication, account creation, and user assignations management.

  • SSO Mode:

    • User authentication is delegated to your organization’s identity management provider (IdP).

    • The provider handles authentication and account creation, while assignment management remains centralized in proPilot.

    • This provides a unified login experience, directly through your company’s identity provider. This new mode leverages your existing identity management and security standards, enabling users to connect through your SSO protocol.

The benefits of the new SSO Mode

Streamlined preconfiguration of user access

To anticipate the arrival of new users, administrators can preconfigure user assignments using their email address, even before the first login. The ability to assign roles in advance ensures immediate onboarding to proPilot upon first SSO login.

Automatic user creation and synchronization

Users referenced in your organization’s identity management tool (IdP) are now automatically created in proPilot upon their first login. Automated provisioning eliminates any need for manual account creation by PMOs or administrators, simplifying both deployment and ongoing operations. With each login, user information (name, display name, etc.) is also synchronized from the IdP, ensuring data consistency and automatic updates.

Simplified and secure access via SSO

Thanks to Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, users can now log in to proPilot with their usual corporate credentials. There is no longer any need to manage separate proPilot passwords: access is now managed directly according to the security protocols already established in your organization, ensuring a streamlined experience that complies with your security requirements.

Maintained traceability for all operations

All user operations and assignments — recent logins, account creations, role modifications—continue to be logged in proPilot. Administrators retain the same ability to monitor and audit, ensuring compliance and security requirements are met, regardless of the chosen management mode.
